How do I use the wishlist?

If you have found a print that you are interested in, but are not quite ready to make the purchase or would like to compare multiple prints prior to purchase, the Wishlist is a great way to save your favorites for later.

To add a print to your Wishlist,  simply click the heart icon  that appears when hovering over the images on the Shop page.

You can visit your Wishlist at any time to review your favorite images and select the one(s) you want to add to your cart.

NOTE: You must create an account in order to save prints to your Wishlist.

Why do the images look pixelated when I zoom in?

In order to ensure that this site runs quickly on a multitude of different devices and network connections, I do not upload full-resolution files which can be more than 50MB each. They would slow down page load times considerably and compromise the user experience. Since the images I upload to the site are significantly compressed, you may notice that they look pixelated when you use the zoom feature in the product pages.

If you would like to see a full-resolution file prior to making a purchase, no problem! Just Contact Me and I will make them available to you for review.

Is there a volume discount for bulk purchases?

Yes! If you plan to order more than 10 prints in one order, please Contact Me first.

Are you an Art Buyer, Interior Designer, or related Professional interested in artwork for a business or hospitality organization? Please Contact Me to discuss special rates.

Can I buy more than one print at a time?

Yes! For Open Edition prints, there is no limit to the number of prints you can purchase. If you plan to order more than 10 prints of any single image, please Contact Me first to discuss pricing.

Limited Edition prints, as their name implies, are limited by the edition size. For example, you can not purchase more than 20 of a Limited Edition print with an edition size of 20 (assuming there have not been any prior purchases of that specific edition).

If you do not see this email within 1 hour of placing your order, please check your spam/junk folders. If it is nowhere to be found, it’s possible that an incorrect email address was entered or some other error occurred. Just Contact Me and I will personally send you an email with your order receipt.

My card was charged twice or more for a single purchase. What do I do?

It is incredibly rare for a payment to be processed more than once. However, if this happens to you, please Contact Me immediately BEFORE reporting the charge(s) to your financial institution. In nearly all cases, I will be able to refund the erroneous charges.

Shipping

Where do you ship to?

My prints can be shipped worldwide!

How long will it take to receive my print(s)?

After placing your order, please allow up to four (4) days for processing. After processing, depending on your location and the shipping method you chose during checkout, it can take anywhere from 2 to 10 days for delivery.

In total, up to 4 days for processing and up to 10 days for shipping means a total time of up to 2 weeks from order placement to delivery.

You will receive a tracking code with your order which you can use to monitor the status of your shipment at any time.

Can you ship to a business address?

Yes!

How do I track my shipment?

After your order has been completed, you will receive an email with a tracking code. You can use this tracking code to monitor the status of your shipment at any time.

You can also visit the Order Tracking page.

My print(s) arrived damaged. What now?

Oh no! Although I make every effort possible to ship prints safely and securely, sometimes damage can occur during transit. If this happens to you, simply Contact Me and I will help to arrange the return and replacement of your print.

My print(s) arrived to my residence, but it/they was/were stolen. Can I get a refund or replacement?

I understand that package theft is a growing, serious problem. If you are confident that your print was delivered (check your tracking number to confirm) and subsequently stolen, please Contact Me as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, I cannot offer refunds for stolen prints.

My print(s) was/were lost in transit. What should I do?

If you suspect that your print was lost in transit to your address, please contact the shipping carrier and reference the tracking number that was provided to you with your order. If the shipping carrier confirms that the package has indeed been lost, please Contact Me immediately.

All orders are shipped with insurance. I will submit a claim for reimbursement with the shipping carrier and I will provide you with a discount code for your replacement order (should you choose to order another print) as a token of apology for the inconvenience.

Limited Edition

What is a limited edition print?

As the name suggests, Limited Edition prints are printed in a limited, pre-determined quantity.

Although the specifics of Limited Edition prints are determined by the artist and can vary dramatically between artists, here is how I structure my Limited Edition prints.

When I designate an image as a Limited Edition, it is available in three sizes and each size has a different edition size (or quantity):

  • Small: Limited Edition of 50
  • Medium: Limited Edition of 30
  • Large: Limited Edition of 20

This means that all images offered as Limited Edition prints have a total edition of 100 across all size options. After all 100 prints of any given Limited Edition have been sold, no other prints of that image will ever be produced again (with the exception of artist’s proofs which never exceed 10% of the total edition size).

NOTE: The exact dimensions of Small, Medium, and Large depend on the image, but will always be disclosed prior to purchase.

Why do limited edition prints cost more than open edition prints?

Simply put, the reason can be found in your nearest Econ 101 textbook. The supply of limited edition prints is lower than open edition prints (because only a certain amount can be produced) and the demand for limited edition prints in the art market tends to be higher than open edition prints since they have a greater chance of maintaining or appreciating their value.

Decreased supply + increased demand = increased price.

Additionally — and this is a more subjective reason — my limited edition prints are the images that I’m most proud of as an artist and the ones that I believe represent the highest caliber of my portfolio.

Is a limited edition print right for me?

First and foremost, the most important part of buying photography prints is finding an image that you love. It should be an image that you would enjoy looking at every day.

These are the pro’s and con’s of buying limited edition prints.

Pro’s:

  • Limited editions are exclusive. You will be one of very few people in the world to have that image in your home or business.
  • They are an investment. Like other investments, they have the potential of appreciating in value over time.
  • They are printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308, an archival quality, acid free, 100% cotton, 308gsm fine art paper.
  • They are a great conversation starter, as they establish a more intimate relationship between the buyer and the photographer.

Con’s:

  • Cost. Limited edition prints cost more than open edition prints.

Taking these pro’s and con’s into consideration, it’s up to you, the buyer, to determine what’s right for you.

Open Edition

What is an open edition print?

Open Edition prints have no limit to the quantity that can be produced. They also come in many more size options. As a result, they do not possess the same exclusivity as Limited Edition prints.

Why do open edition prints cost less than limited edition prints?

Open Edition prints cost less than Limited Edition prints because they have an unlimited supply and do not carry the same level of exclusivity. Additionally, they are printed on slightly lower quality (but still high quality) paper; therefore, they cost less to produce.

Is an open edition print right for me?

First and foremost, the most important part of buying photography prints is finding an image that you love. It should be an image that you would enjoy looking at every day.

If your budget does not allow for the purchase of a limited edition print, open edition prints can be a great entry point into the world of art collecting.

Custom Presentation

Why can't I order my print(s) in a frame?

Unfortunately, due to the complex nature of matting and framing options, it’s not feasible at this time to order your print(s) in a frame via the online ordering process. If you’d like to discuss custom presentation options, please Contact Me before placing your order.

Do I have to place my print(s) in a frame?

In order to extend the life of your print(s), matting and framing is highly recommended; however, of course, it is entirely up to you as the buyer. Framing your print will protect it from damage and also limit its exposure to airborne vectors that can cause deterioration (e.g., moisture, smoke, chemical irritants, and sunlight).

What custom presentation options are available?

The options are limitless. If you are interested in custom presentation for your print(s), please Contact Me before placing your order and I will work with you to determine the best presentation for your home or office.

Is there an additional cost for custom presentation?

Yes, there is an additional cost for custom presentation and it varies based on the size of your print, the materials used, and the complexity of the presentation. There is also a variable fee for my consultation, which depends on the nature of the project. I will work with you to determine custom presentation options that work for your budget.

Is it better to order my print(s) in a frame or frame it/them myself?

This really depends on your unique needs. It can be a rewarding process, but it does take time and effort. Some people enjoy the process of matting and framing prints themselves, while others prefer to have the entire process handled by someone else so that all they have to do is pick the spot where the art will be hung.

I'd like to order my print(s) with custom presentation. What do I do?

Great! All you have to do is Contact Me before placing your order and I will walk you through the entire process.

Certificate of Authenticity

What is a certificate of authenticity?

A certificate of authenticity (COA) is a signed document that establishes the legitimacy and provenance of an artwork. It contains details about the artwork for the collector’s reference.

In order to reduce my carbon footprint, I use digital COAs by Verisart. Verisart applies blockchain technology to combine transparency, anonymity and security to protect records of creation and ownership.

After you purchase one of my limited edition prints, you will receive an email from Verisart containing a transfer request. By accepting the transfer request, the COA related to your specific print will be transferred from me to you and the details of the transfer will be permanently bound to the artwork’s provenance data.

Isn’t technology cool?

Why is it important to have a certificate of authenticity?

Serious art collectors will require any work they purchase to include a certificate of authenticity in order to prove provenance should they choose to sell the work or donate it in the future.

Where should I keep my certificate of authenticity?

You will have access to your digital Verisart certificate of authenticity (COA) forever. All you have to do is log into your Verisart account and view your certificates.

If you would like, you can choose to print your COA at any time and non-permanently adhere it to the back of the frame in which the print is located.

What happens if I lose my certificate of authenticity?

That’s one of the benefits of digital COAs—they can’t be lost. If you chose to print your digital COA and ended up losing it, simply log back into your Verisart account and re-print it if you’d like. The provenance data will remain unaffected.

Returns

Do you offer returns?

Yes, if you are not 100% satisfied with your print, please Contact Me to arrange a return.

How much will be refunded if I decide to return my print(s)?

If are you not 100% satisfied with your print(s), I will refund 100% of your purchase minus shipping.

How long does it take to receive my refund?

After a return is initiated, I must first receive and inspect the print to verify its authenticity and condition before processing the refund. Please allow 7-10 business days for shipping and inspection. If the print passes inspection, a refund will be issued to the original payment method. Depending on your financial institution, it may take an additional 5-7 business days for the funds to settle.
